The Convention of Southern Baptist Churches of Puerto Rico (CIBSPR) is part of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC)Southern Baptists are the largest non-Catholic denomination in America with more than 41,000 churches and over 15,000,000 members.
Our Convention is led by a Board of Directors elected by the messengers of our churches at Annual Meeting every two years. This Board is responsible for making the administrative and financial decisions that the messengers have delegated to it. They also serve as intermediaries between our churches and our National Convention (SBC) in Nashville, TN.
